Chinmaya Culture trust is a non-profit organisation that aims to foster the growth of high-quality arts and literature which reflects the beauty, wisdom and richness of Hindu and Indian culture.
Chinmaya Culture operates independently of Chinmaya Mission’s spiritual activities and exists solely to promote cultural heritage through arts
We are guided by the following aims and objectives:
- Provide opportunities for the community to enjoy and learn about Hindu and Indian culture
= Develop and exhibit theatre, music and dance that display the beauty of Hindu and Indian culture
- Organise cultural events
- Provide opportunities to participate in performing arts that embodies aspects of Hindu and Indian culture.
- Develop and promote literary works to display and share the wisdom of Hindu and Indian culture
- We promote the diversity of cultural expressions across the Hindu community
- Promote cultural, rather than religious practices. Chinmaya Culture was founded in 2003 by a group of local residents who saw a need for a place where people of all cultures could come together and share their traditions and customs.

We operate with the help of a fantastic team of members and volunteers who support a range of projects and programs.

Swami Chinmayananda was a champion of the classic Hindu art forms. He promoted culture in the form of art, and cultural forms including dance and music as ways of enabling the ancient Hindu culture heritage.
He championed celebrating festivals such as Navratri and Diwali through performances, focusing on their value for promoting cultural expression.
He supported narration of classic epics such as

Swami Swaroopananda is a lifelong disciple of Swami Chinmayananda. He has carried on championing of the performing arts world over.
He has encouraged the youth world over to connect with the Hindu culture through arts, dance, performances and stage production.
He has produced his own work of art through painting called “Love Ablaze”.
